Known as the iron rugs, this hefty Persian is hand knotted with luxurious wool and is in amazing condition. Bidjars are mighty and known to serve for generations to come (at least 250 years actually!). You see, the female weaver tied each row of knots, and then she added an extra weft and literally pounded down the knots. So believe it...you will feel the weight and durability in it, immediately!
What's more? We are just drawn to this pretty vintage rug. Its beautiful, and square! The all over design within the field is articulate and beautiful. If you have done your rug research, you already know that square vintage rugs are no easy find!
