From the region of Caucasus mountains, this antique vegetable dyed wool rug embodies great style with geometric and bold design. It was hand knotted circa 1880 on a wool foundation and this old beauty is very worn, so it will play up your space with a great deal of age and history. These rugs are considered rare and many like to collect them, having been produced from expert dyers and weavers.
The rug features 2 large diamond medallions in the field on a dark navy ground. Please see pics of worn condition. The rug's threadbare will patched from the back before shipping.
