With remarkable size, color ways and design, this super decorative antique Persian will be a jackpot for its next owner. An old rug, woven in this size was likely produced on commission, as it quite extraordinary and rare.   

Timeworn beautifully and low pile, this 1920s Persian is from the village of Mahal and it will make quite an impression when styled. 

It features paisleys throughout the field which symbolizes “seeds of life”, and “fertility” to the weavers. The rug is made with high quality wool that was dyed naturally with vegetables and handwoven with love.

This wool Mahal is definitely a great investment for an Oriental Rug (means handwoven) and its a great piece of history. Super clean and is nice condition with scattered wear.
