This is a handmade Heriz rug, from mid 20th century. It comes from Nortwest Persia, near Mt Sabalon. It features a geometric design on an ivory and blush ground. The wool is luxurious and plush, you will truly feel it. A very attractive part is the amazing central medallion, an element that we often see with these amazing tribal rugs.
