This rug was hand knotted in Northwest Persia, and is in amazing condition for its 100 years of age. This rug has coarse knotting and a lustrous, low wool pile with a sophisticated geometric design. It sits on a madder red ground and has deep, midnight blue borders.
It is low pile with some beautiful and lovely scattered wear (you can see in pics)...great character which shows off its real age. A real beauty that has timeless value and generations to go.
