9'8 x 12'3 Antique Persian Heriz rug #2674 / 10x12 Heriz

Regular price $0.01

This beautiful 1920s Persian Heriz rug is packed with powerful tribal motifs and a wonderful color story that deviates from the typical and more dominant colors we see on these wonderful mountain rugs. Its as though the masterful weaver wove the building plans for a great palace and surrounding gardens with the central medallion taking center stage in lovely ivory, dusty French blue, sage and hunter green, and rust and coral tones that contrast superbly with the midnight blue ground.

The amazing tribal motifs meander around the medallion in softened banana yellow and French blue against an aged and time softened rust ground that adds warmth and character to this awesome rug. The spandrels anchor the rug and help contain the energy with its muted golden yellow ground, ice blue and warm coral. The stunning border with its midnight blue ground and fantastic tribal motifs frame this lovely rug perfectly and with the perfect contrast.

Handwoven with wool that has been dyed with natural resources, such as plants, flowers, and vegetables, the color ways of this rug have stood the test of time and have aged gracefully. This beauty will add so much character to a space and provide the perfect foundation for a room in need of elegance, style, and a welcoming spirit. Persian Heriz rugs from the NW of the country have always had great demand and are favorites of many and for good reason.
