3'9 x 9'3 Persian Malayer Runner / Rug Runner / Vintage Runner (#664)

Regular price $0.01

Oh the beautiful colors!!! This is the real deal - antique art and wool, locked in with so much age. Even though a century has passed, this gorgeous beast keeps on giving and is so love worn and alluring. The all over design and intricate details are divine and it breaths with enormous character.

This is a late 19th Century Persian Malayer from the Hamadan region. The wool is high quality that was dyed naturally with vegetables, plants, roots and flowers. There is nothing ever synthetic of antique rugs like this one. The edges are all bound and ready for another century of life. There is a small patch (see pic with a hand). We also took off the cotton fringes that someone along the way added on the rug, to the top and bottom of the rug. At the time of photographing, it came like this, but since then, we took it back to its original form ;-)
