Early 1900s and carrying all the tribal energy we chase after around here. This antique Caucasian runner, approximately 4x10, has that earthy, grounded palette that somehow still feels cheerful at the same time. The camel field is loaded with beautiful abrash throughout, shifting softly in tone like sun hitting desert sand at different hours of the day.
Large diamond medallions stretch across the center; each filled with tiny geometric flowers in bright pops of orange and ivory that absolutely glow against the warm camel-toned wool. And then there’s that border…the happy yellow floral chain motif framing the whole piece, giving it such a welcoming spirit.
Low pile with a wool foundation and handwoven from vegetable dyed wool. It’s relaxed, soulful, and packed with personality. Hallway, kitchen, entry…this one brings warmth immediately.
