Glowing Neutral Persian Tribal Runner Rug / 3’4 x 11’5 Vintage Geometric Wool Hallway Runner #4502

Regular price $3,870.00

A luminous, 1930s Persian Seraband runner with the kind of glow that makes you stop and stare a little longer. The sheen. The lanolin rich wool absolutely drips with it. That oily old wool glow collectors chase where the pile catches light differently from every angle. You can see it folding through the rug in waves. Healthy wool like this feels alive. Truly.

The palette lives in this beautiful neutral territory of espresso, walnut, camel, sand, faded cocoa, hint of peach and soft cream…all quietly shifting through the field with exceptional abrash and movement.

The geometric tribal drawing has a wonderful rhythm to it too. The medallions showcased on the runner are powerful and graphic while the smaller motifs pulse and scatter around them. This Persian has power, and feels deeply tribal and soulful.

Vegetable dyed wool throughout with a low pile that sits beautifully flat while still holding plenty of wool presence. Excellent condition for a nearly 100 year old runner and an especially strong size at 3’4 x 11’5. Long enough to make an impact in a hallway, kitchen, gallery passage, or layered across a larger room needing warmth and old world texture. You can check out a video down below of this runner, too, and get an even better sense of it.
