The field is a deep, moody space blue (navy-ish) and it is stunning. Tribal medallions stack down the center in that bold, confident Persian Gharajeh way, surrounded by iconic geometric elements, angular botanical forms, and those mountain-inspired motifs in the edge guards that remind you this rug was made by hand in the mountains of northwest Persia, in the 1920s.
