From the Hamadan region of Persia, this lovely Malayer features 3 nice medallions and motifs throughout. It has a lot of character congruent to it's age with all natural dyes and old world wool that has beautifully aged. The ground color is rust/brick.
There is nothing ever synthetic of antique rugs like this one that is 100+ years old, this one being from the early 1900s. A rug in this great size will play up a space with loads of charm and history.
Malayer is a village in Northwest Persia and is known to have produced really decorative rugs that are great investments for a home. The wool of this rug is highly durable, strong, and a rug to be enjoyed for decades to come.
