This fine Qum, sometimes they are referred to as Qom rugs, other times Ghom rugs is a beauty. It has paisleys all over the field, the symbol of life, seed and fertility to the artisans who weaved it, in Persia.
Qum, the namesake for the Qum rug, is considered to be a holy city that is located 100 km south of Tehran in the center of Persia. These rugs tend to be rich in quality, sturdiness, and own an indescribable attraction to them. This rug is in decent condition, but has some minor touches of loss of wool (not very noticeable by naked eye, but please see pics).
