This is a village rug, hand knotted by tribal weavers of Shiraz, which happens to be home to the famous Qashqai tribe.
It features diamond medallions in its field with wool and the rug also sits on a wool foundation. This is definitely a hard wearing rug that is durable and displays immense character. It is in great condition and would love exceptional on a hard wood floor as well as on stone. The strength in its earthy and natural color ways is soothing and bold at the same time.
