This is a tribal runner from the Caucasus mountains, near Mr. Sabalon. Worn through time and originally woven in the 1880s, this wool runner still has more love to give and will undoubtedly add immense character to the space it will be styled in
It features geometric motifs running down its field, serrated leaves and wine cups in the borders. This distressed runner has some notable wear and tear, but we have secured all areas so it can keep on ticking! All the dyes you see are completely natural, from all the resources the tribespeople had around to use (veggies, plants and flowers).
We recommend a rug pad as it is a softer/floppier rug by nature, given that it is a wool foundation piece and you can order one in the shop and it’ll be cut to size and sent on order.
