Timeworn and shabby chic is this wonderful antique Persian, woven by the Kurdish tribe circa 1880. It's simply folk art, my friends. The field is filled with flowers in geometric form and the main border too. A woman hand knotted this rug with incredible depth and delight and the ivory ground is something we treasure as not many Persians are found this way. It is a nomadic, village piece that we admire that has over a century of age. It'll be a wonderful piece to style that will add immediate history, art and charm.
Handwoven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. Low pile and worn. Woven on a wool foundation.
