Featuring lovely and large paisleys and oversized motifs, this superior Persian shines like a star. It was woven in Sarouk, where the most durable Persians were produced. This one is from the 1920s. It has vivid natural dyes and sheen to its wool. This old baby is extremely hefty and will take on a great deal of abuse...Sarouks are known for taking a beating and lasting forever. Did we mention heavy duty? Just making sure!
You won't be disappointed with its grandeur and colors...it beams with happy and loving vibes.
Also, depending on how you orient the rug, it'll be richer to the naked eye based on what angle you're looking at it. Basically, if you're styling it and walk into the room with the rug styled where the nap is sleeping, you'll see a bit calmer dyes whereas if you style it where you're looking at the rug against the natural flow of the nap, it'll be more bold and pronounced in color.
Woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. Low pile with scattered wear. Amazing value for size, age and quality.
