From the late 19th Century, this is a beautifully aged and worn Persian Kerman Lavar...these old rugs were made famous by Marco Polo who favored them. A popular hit in Europe, Kerman Lavar rugs have graceful, floral art, a floppy handle and very tightly woven wool.
With is beautiful character earned through time, this low pile rug with scattered wear shows off its age and style! All the dye changes you see throughout is completely organic abrash, showing off the different batches of vegetable dyed wool used to weave this little gem.
