Here's a moody 1920s P E R S I A N from the village of M A L A Y E R on a dark, midnight blue ground. It has lustrous wool with a great balance of contrasting natural dyes. Please note the wear on one side of the rug, where you can see the way it has aged and it has a natural curve. Woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. The borders feature lovely serrated leaves and flower head art.
