3'6 x 4'9 Antique tribal wool rug #1604 / 4x5 vintage Rug

This is an antique village rug, hand knotted by tribal weavers of S H I R A Z, which happens to be home to the famous Qashqai tribe. It is from the 1920s and features the classic geometric design that we see in these tribal rugs.

It's a P E R S I A N designed with a diamond shaped central medallion and it sits on a dark navy blue field. The wool is hefty for its small body and this piece has luxurious wool and weight for a scatter rug. It’s in excellent condition with a tiny spot where it has a little loss of wool (see pic). 

We will send a custom cut rug pad on the house with this oldie and it will sit nice n snug.
