Here's a good looking Turkmen aka P E R S I A N Turkoman rug from circa 1930. It is a tribal wool rug on a wool foundation. In good condition for its age and it has abrash (variation of dyes) throughout the rug which shows off its awesome character. The field ground color is a navy blue with a touch of purple undertone.
