This is a mid-century Persian Dargazine runner, measuring 2'4 x 9 and woven in a rare skinny format that's hard to come by. Runners under 3 feet wide were barely ever woven, which makes this one especially useful for those narrow hallways or design moments that need something slim and soulful.
The red ground is lively and full of floral patterning, with an elongated central medallion and ivory corner spandrels adding some structure to the flow. Soft pinks, mellow butter yellow, and light-dusty slate sit throughout the design, offering contrast and charm. There’s scattered wear that gives it character, but the rug is still strong and ready to serve and yep, it'll handle high traffic zone.
Woven in western Persia, Dargazine rugs are known for their cheerful palettes and balanced layouts, and this piece fits the bill. It brings both vintage energy and practical function in a form that’s notoriously hard to source. Long and lean and totally ready.
