7x10 Ivory and Watermelon Antique Persian Heriz #4489

Regular price $0.01

Here’s a fantastic Heriz, measuring 6'9 x 9'9, that came out of the northwest Persian mountains in the 1920s and it shows up with a great deal of purpose and shows off different art and color ways than what we’re used to seeing.

An ivory ground sets the stage for crisp, angular art that feels almost architectural. A small central medallion anchors it all, flanked by two more, with partial medallions at the top and bottom…it almost feels like the design keeps moving beyond the frame. It has amazing and powerful tribal Heriz energy. You’ll spot those serrated leaves throughout, giving it that sharp, almost electric edge.

Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool, this beauty’s color story is vibrant and bold. The border runs deep in a saturated watermelon ground, rich and grounding, while the entirety of the rug is packed with pistachio green, sky blue, camel, maroon, tan, and hints of charcoal.

Low pile, heavy in the hand, this one’s built the way old Heriz rugs should be. Stout, durable, and fully ready for real life. Clean and ready to land. It’s graphic, balanced, and just a little bit wild in the best way, the kind of floor art that holds a room down.
