Antique Persian Scatter Rug / 2x4 Sarouk Rug #4172

Regular price $875.00

This is a 1930s Persian Sarouk rug, built like a tank. Simply put, it's a workhorse in a velvet robe. True to its origin, it’s dense, heavy, and made to last. Sarouks are known for their thick, tightly packed wool and durability, and this one delivers all of that in spades. The wool pile is lush and tough, making it ideal for high-traffic spots or anywhere you want dependable beauty underfoot.

The ground is a deep raspberry tone, rich and saturated, layered with classic Sarouk floral sprays that feel like blooming fireworks. The design is balanced and full, with stylized botanical bursts mirrored across the field and anchored by navy and soft beige details. It’s bold, timeless, and unmistakably Persian.

Sarouks from this era were woven for the export market, especially to the US, where their strength and graceful florals earned them major popularity. This one’s a textbook example...solid, sophisticated, and ready to be put to work while still looking incredible. Small size, big presence, and absolutely no fuss. Low pile, handwoven with vegetable dyed wool. In good condition for its age.

Exact Size: 2’ x 4'1

A custom cut rug pad will be sent on the house with this beauty, too.
