This is a worn Persian runner featuring a Herati design within the field (small fish surrounding flower heads) and in the borders, you'll see serrated and edgy leaf design with floral geometric art. The 3x14 Persian runner shows off phenomenal abrash (natural dyes with variation in color that depicts the different batches of vegetable dyed wool used to weave). This old beauty is from circa 1900 and while it is worn, it is still sturdy and will be a great runner on the skinny side to anchor a hallway needing great art, history and soul with its shabby chic character.
