It was woven by the Kurdish tribe and is a piece that has definite arrest power with its amazing art on field and phenomenal natural dyes. This majestic Persian measures 4’ x 6’4 and is low pile with scattered wear, woven with all natural vegetable dyed wool.
It has a navy blue ground with stunning botanical art and rhubarb border with deep saturation that displays abrash with the madder root dye that comes through so strongly, creating wonderful variations in tone and depth.
