This gorgeous antique 1920’s Persian Mahal rug will send you over the moon in pink! A wonderful all-over botanical design with meandering blossom-laden vines in navy blue, espresso, hunter green, pistachio green teal, sky blue, ivory and warm tan against a pink-coral ground really delights the eyes and will be easy to style. The abrash of the coral ground adds charm and whimsy, making it a one-of-a-kind.
In another lifetime, this beauty was bigger, but has since been custom sized. It has been hand bound on all edges, has a nice floppy handle, is low pile and is soft to the touch. It's a durable old rug and will be able to take on a lot of traffic. It was woven with wool dyed with organic resources available to the weavers a century ago, i.e. vegetables, plants, and flowers. This is a great size for folks that are looking for a room size rug around 6x8, which is near impossible to find!
