7x10 Neutral Vintage Turkish Rug #4287

Regular price $3,880.00

An antique Oushak from the 1930s, woven with a warm neutral ground that carries faint green and muted lavender tones, shifting depending on the angle and lighting. Pictures showing the variance, but feel free to message if you have any questions! It’s one of those rugs that’s tricky to capture fully in photos, the palette moves subtly, creating depth and nuance that feels alive, but to the eyes, it does show up with the warmer tone. The wool carries a natural sheen, with a low pile that has been gently softened over time, and the rug remains in excellent condition for its age.

The allover design is classic Oushak, with large-scale floral palmettes, angular leaves, and vine work that drift across the field in a graceful rhythm. These motifs, drawn with looseness and freedom, carry the unmistakable hand of Anatolian village weaving, where art was passed down through generations. Nicely weighted and of superb quality, this rug has both presence and versatility and it'll be easy to style in a variety of spaces while grounding the room with history and soul.
