8'7 x 10'9 Worn 19th Century Lavar rug #2111

Regular price $0.01

Handwoven and locking in beautiful art, design and charm, this wool Kerman Lavar rocks our world with its subdued palette earned solely through time. This is a low pile piece with a floppy handle, a very tight weave and with a lot of character and subdued nature.

This Lavar features larger scale paisleys with floral art within each flame, and it sits on a sand ground with mellow wine, light mint, tan, and deep indigo blue (appears as charcoal). It shows off intricate art which is beautiful, graceful and easy to style. It has a lot of scattered wear with some areas that have wear to foundation, congruent with age and history. Please see pics in detail for character and condition.

Low pile from the 1880s.

We recommend a rug pad for this piece, to keep it in place when styled. You can order one through the shop and we will custom cut it to size and send on order. https://www.shopblueparakeetrugs.com/collections/rug-pads/products/large-rug-pad
