9’2 x 12’ Antique Persian Heriz Rug / Large Vintage Rug (#1392)

This antique Heriz from circa 1910 stands out from the crowd and we can see why. The gorgeous larger scale floral geometric art is eye catching and this beauty on a midnight blue ground will be an instant fav for anyone who loves rare rugs with immense history and style.

This village rug was woven in the slopes of Mt. Sabalan of Northwest Persia and was woven with all natural vegetable dyed wool.  It took some years and multiple weavers to produce this room size masterpiece. It has variation of dyes throughout, please see pics.
