A pretty, love worn Kurdish rug from circa 1900 in a size that can make just about any room pop with some lovely decor once this baby lands in it! This does look like a Lilihan, but at a closer look, we think the weave and weft indicates it is woven by Kurdish weavers, a very small minority in areas that are north of Persia.
Kurdish rugs are also known to be stout and solid! You can definitely feel the lamb's wool on this fine rug. The age and wear shows it’s great age with loads of cool character.
