A full field of small scale art…packed, precise, and endlessly satisfying to take in.
This 1920s Persian Tabriz, measuring 10’4 x 14’, leans into that beautifully controlled chaos…tiny boteh and floral forms with great composition spread across a warm, earthy ground. Soft cocoa, dusty rose, and faded apricot tones carry the field, while hits of teal and deep blue bring everything into focus. The border features crisp geometry and a steady hand, with articulate art that frames the field beautifully.
Handwoven in vegetable dyed wool, this one feels serious in hand…weighted in the best way. Stout and solid with a fine weave that speaks to the kind of construction you just don’t see often anymore. The wool holds that quiet glow…colors layered, never flat.
Low, even pile…beautifully maintained and ready to keep going for generations. These are the pieces that stay in families…passed down, lived with, appreciated over time. Small scale design, but big presence underfoot.
