3'10 x 10'6 Antique Persian Bibikabad runner #2308ML / 4x11 Vintage Runner

Regular price $1,975.00

This fabulous Persian runner shows off great art with a super cool and ornate two toned field, lattice design and more on a remarkable non-dyed camel wool field, but that's not all. What jumps out to our eyes is that sensational border displaying contrasting natural dyes as well as the incredible and outstanding abrash (variation and change in vegetable dyes woven in the rug). It really speaks to us as a one of a kind rug that shows off how fun it is to be free form and to have a piece that is outstanding with a color story like so.

This Persian was woven with durable wool circa 1900 in Persia in the village of Bibikabad. When we observe the underside of the runner, we can identify that there was more than one woman who wove it because it shows two or three different hand knotted styles. It helps us know the story a bit more and how these rugs have lots of love and soul take to their creation.

Thank you for looking at this antique runner and for visiting this small shop.
