This wonderful love worn antique Persian runner has a lot of shabby chic character and charm. A linear pattern of paisleys catches the eye, almost looking like owls sitting in a hole in a tree, in rusty red, mint green (plus other gradient shades), and ivory against a navy blue ground. Abstract motifs continue the color story with a contrasting rusty red ground in the main border.
Although this fantastic runner is very love worn, it has a very floppy and beautiful handle. It was handwoven on a wool foundation. Both ends have quite a bit of wool loss, but the overall integrity of this lovely runner is still intact and a testament to the quality of craftsmanship and wool used to create this awesome floor art.
