3'7 x 16'6 Antique Worn Persian Runner with Rust Border #3055

Regular price $1,535.00

Circa 1880, this awesome antique Persian runner was woven before metal birds graced the skies. An intricately designed main field includes tribal patterns, animal motifs, and the Herati motif, also known as the fish design in an earthy color story. Rust red accents really pop against the coffee brown ground, creating a warm and inviting feel. Distinct border bands include the S-hook motif, which symbolizes protection against the evil eye.

Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool on a wool foundation, this beauty has a low wool pile with wear patterns. Having lived many lives, this fantastic runner may be worn, but has a lot of heart and soul. Place this runner in a hallway, walkway, or anywhere that needs a dash of charm to jazz up a space. It will add style, beauty, and character to any space it lives in.
