This long Persian beauty—clocking in at a grand 20 feet—was woven in the late 19th century in Northwest Persia. Made of vegetable-dyed wool and non-dyed camel hair (likely from the weavers’ own flock), it’s got an earthy elegance that’s hard to beat.
The field is filled with diamond lattice motifs that pulse with movement, while the wide camel-colored border wraps it all up with boteh designs (those beloved paisleys), ancient symbols of fertility and life.
It’s got stories in its threads—time-worn wear, visible patina, and a few thoughtful old repairs that were expertly done and only add to the soul of the piece. This is one for the hallways that deserve heritage.
Low pile, worn, handwoven with vegetable dyed wool and ready for its next chapter of life.
