Meet a beauty from Northwest Persia…a narrow Gharajeh runner that’s got personality for days. This old-world charmer is all about those eight poled medallions marching down the field, each one rocking its own design and color combo like a lineup of mini masterpieces. Peek closer and you’ll spot little tribal surprises…people, critters, and tiny figures we believe the women who wove this added in as a quiet signature. Love that.
The border shows off an ivory caterpillar chain and seeds of life motifs, adding movement and story all the way through. The palette is soft, serene, and in nice condition. The original dyes were gently mellowed through a compound wash, giving this runner that creamy, subdued vibe designers and home owners alike, drool over. Think easy neutrals with touches of shell pink, cocoa, sky blue, and earthy notes… plus gorgeous abrash from the dyed wool that shifts like watercolors.
She’s clean, sides and ends secured, and completely floor-ready. Excellent condition for her age…and a total soft-spoken stunner that feels right at home in entryways, kitchens, or hallways. Old soul, subtle color story, endless charm. Also, she is on the skinny for width, which is always a huge bonus with majority of old runners woven wider.
