3’7 x 5’3 Antique Caucasian (#872) / 4x5 Vintage Rug

An antique rug from the Caucasus mountains, displaying a tribal and primitive design. These are highly collected rugs and this one displays a lovely contrast of bold dyes these rugs are known for. It was woven at the end of the 19th Century. It is low pile, worn and with a floppy handle on a wool foundation. Please see close up pics for full condition details. Extended at great value!
