This camel ground Persian Serab tribal rug speaks to us. With the geometric medallions running down its field, to the natural dyes and all the various shades we see throughout, this rug is powerful, heavy duty and historical. From the Northwest Persian mountains, it was hand knotted in the 1880s and you will definitely feel the luxurious wool of this rug (sits on a wool foundation as well).
If you look closely at the top and bottom of the rug, you can see the edges that are so beautifully woven as well. I has a trim detail we adore. Please note, this rug is not perfectly straight. It is hand made after all. :-)
