Check out the scene on this 1940's Persian beauty! Like a canvas of tribal folk art, with some interesting surprises. Look closely, and you'll spot cypress tree motifs that flank what seems to be a mysterious face. Set against a deep navy blue background, you'll find rust, coral, and pops of yellow that are a burst of life. Arrows and botanical-inspired motifs bring a graphic vibe that's just fantastic.
But it doesn't stop there. Spandrels add a decorative touch, and the border bands are adorned with charming floral patterns that tie the whole piece together. The main border band is dressed a lovely blue ground, framing this Persian beautifully and the abrash has all the allure.
Handwoven with vegetable-dyed wool, it's in great condition - a rug that's as durable as it is beautiful. The wool is super soft and weighty, making it perfect for underfoot.
