Small Vintage Persian Navy Gharajeh Heriz Rug / 3’2 x 4’’Rug #4280

Regular price $1,080.00

This little Persian packs a punch. Woven circa 1930 in Northwest Persia, this scatter rug is full of life, boasting bold natural dyes and that classic tribal geometry you see in its big brothers, the iconic Heriz rugs. Strong rectilinear motifs run through the field, showcasing handwoven village charm with every knot.

It’s stout, sturdy, and ready for wherever you place it, a high-traffic entry, beside the bed, or layered in a room that just needs a splash of story and soul.

The rug carries a powerful double-medallion design set against a deep navy ground, a classic hallmark of the region’s bold geometric tradition. The pile is low from generations of love, with scattered wear that adds to its undeniable soul and authenticity. This is tribal floor art at its finest, compact in size but commanding in presence, woven to endure and radiate character through the ages.

Its border is alive with serrated leaves and wine cup motifs,  across a glowing rust frame that embraces the central field. Vegetable-dyed wool in a palette of coral, navy, rust, soft pink, pistachio green, golden yellow, and sky blue create a vibrant yet harmonious story that only age could mellow into such beauty.
