This is a stunning, low pile, antique Persian Tabriz rug from early 20th Century. It has an all over pattern of floral motifs and medallions. Throughout the rug, you will notice beautiful and calm color ways of the natural dyes. This rug is a beauty and it is in a really grand size as well, which will decorate a space with sweet elegance and history. We love the character and condition of this rug, with lovely scattered wear all over.

The rug is made from one of the epicenters of rug weaving, which is Tabriz. The area to which this rug was woven is known for a really tight weave and Tabriz rugs are collected for this very reason as it is a fine Oriental Rug which has prestige.

This Tabriz is in excellent and beautifully aged condition. We are happy to have this antique hand knotted Tabriz and to extend it at a great deal for this work of art. This rug is a virgin and no repairs or tears.
