This adorable and tiny antique 1920s Persian Tabriz scatter rug will work wonders wherever it is styled. It has a charming classical design that breaths traditional Persian art. A beautiful medallion with botanical motifs is at the center in chocolate brown, sandy beige, and sienna orange that really pops against the sienna orange ground creating a wonderfully warm and neutral color story. The spandrels and borders continue the cozy color theme and botanical pattern.
This beauty is a distinctly finely woven Tabriz rug that came from highly skilled hands. This fact points to a particular type known as Haji Jalili Tabriz, which means it came from a master weaver. It was handwoven with wool dyed from organic materials, such as vegetables, plants, and flowers and it has a low pile. Please see pictures for condition details.
