This happy and nature inspired woven rug with floral design comes from Kerman, located in South Central Persia. These pretty rugs and carpets are perhaps one of the most recognizable within the antique Persian rug category. Kerman rugs are a designer favorite and one of the most highly sought after rugs in the 1970's which made them extremely difficult to find and collect.
On an ivory ground with beautiful color ways, it travels to us from the 1920s, is low pile and in great condition for its age. You can see the all over foliage and exceptional berry color natural dyes.
Clean and tightly woven with vegetable dyed wool. Woven circa 1920. It'll ship on the house with a custom cut rug pad to keep it nice and put.
