10'8 x 14'1 Antique Persian Doroksh Rug (#1571)/ Large vintage rug

From Northeast Persia, specifically, the province of Khorassan, this commanding rug stands for exquisite beauty, age and presence. From circa 1880, we detect this masterpiece comes from the hills of Doroksh and it is indeed a masterpiece that was woven with high quality wool and very intricate design.

The natural vegetable dyes have aged superbly and this rug comes from a region that means “where the sun arrives”. At a palatial size of 12’8 x 14’1, it will make for a stunning visual centerpiece.
