1'7 x 2'10 Antique Anatolian Turkish rug #2615

Regular price $375.00

A wonderful and playful antique 1920s Anatolian Turkish rug with a beautiful color story that can be easily styled and will adorn a home with a happy mood. Two bold abstract motifs with vibrant colors in maroon, ivory, sage green, and a darker dijon against a gorgeous marbled cerulean blue ground encased in an ivory and cherry red decorative border catches the eye.

Spandrels in darker djob and cerulean blue in what looks to be a dragon motif symbolizing the guarding of treasures and secret objects pops against the pumpkin orange ground. A ram’s horn motif can also be seen symbolizing fertility, power, and masculinity. A botanical design around the border provides a nice finishing touch.

Love worn that shows its age through the wear and character it has created over time; it has a low pile and was handwoven on a wool foundation, which gives it a fantastic floppy handle. A perfect little mat to add history and soul to any space it lives in. We will ship it with a custom cut pad on the house.
