This wonderful antique 1930’s Persian Gharajeh Heriz runner has a bold personality and runs on the skinny side, which is a great catch!
There are geometric inspired medallions in the center field in ivory, royal blue, maroon, rouge red, beige, and mint green against a saturated watermelon ground that has a powerful and masculine presence. The lovely borders, with a geometric pattern and foliage inspired design, accentuate the strong center field with a decorative flair.
Originally from North West Persia, this handwoven beautiful rug was dyed using natural materials, such as vegetables, roots, plants, and other resources. Although the ends of this rug are worn, it provides a lot of character and is a testament to the durability of this handiwork.
This is a durable piece that can handle a good amount of traffic and will keep up for decades to come. A custom cut rug pad will ship on the house for this old baby and it'll be nice and snug.
