2’5 x 9’ Antique Persian Hamadan Runner (#1334) / skinny vintage runner

This is an antique Persian runner from the Hamadan district of Persia, one of the rug weaving epicenters. This rug is low-medium pile and is on a rust-orange backdrop. It features a fish design, also more formally known as Herati pattern. This runner is great for its skinny width! We don’t get them often enough as they are so hard to find. 

Hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool.
Nothing synthetic about this old rug!
