Late 19th Century collectible treasure
An antique tribal saddle bag front panel better known as a bag face from Persia that was used by Persian tribe on their travels while riding on camel. It often carried spices. Luxurious, plush and superior quality old world vegetable dyed wool on a wool foundation that is lanolin rich and has sheen.
Woven in are human elements, which depicts the weaver herself, just leaving her mark and her story for us to cherish.
In good condition with minor wool loss. Can be used as a floor piece, wall hanging or display it on a table or dresser as a beautiful backdrop for place your watches or jewelry.
