The little rug that could!
This 1930s handwoven rug has coarse knotting and a low wool pile with a sophisticated geometric design and medallions in it's field. It comes from a village in Northwest Persia in Heriz. It is a small and isolated place, with unpaved roads.
This geometric and tribal rug was woven with vegetable dyed wool rug is in great condition, especially considering its age. The color ground is a sort of brick or auburn color. Exact size is 1'10 x 2'11.
