This lovely antique Baluch rug from the 19th century is a wonderful piece crafted by the skilled hands of Baluchi tribal weavers. 

Handwoven with vegetable-dyed wool, this rug boasts earthy and moody color ways that evoke a sense of warmth and comfort. These rugs were woven small and traveled with the Baluchi tribe members, serving as both a practical and decorative item in their daily lives. It is said that they were also used as tent coverings, adding to their versatility and utility.
